Linklater Coaching

Anne has spent a number of years pursing her Linklater Designation and is proud to be able to use it as an actor, director, and in her Voice and Body classes at UTC. She describes it as a technique that does not focus on how the voice sounds but how it feels in the body. Through her designation, she is able to teach the Linklater understanding of relaxation, physical and breath awareness, resonation, and the nuance to sound. She is in a small minority of people who are able to offer this valuable experience.

The Method

“Linklater Voice takes you through a series of step-by-step practical exercises that include relaxation, awareness of breathing, the experience of voice vibrating in the body, how to open the throat, the development of resonance and range, and the articulating activity of lips and tongue. As you awaken your voice consciousness you will discover the expressive potential of the human voice and release your own eloquence.” — linklatervoice.com
